A local sweet shop used the black and white colours of an early Everton team strip as the basis for a new confection. The company then began selling there toffees inside the ground, beginning a tradition of the Toffee Lady as a feature of Everton matches. The team nickname is now The Toffees.

Everton mints are delicious black and white minty sweets with delicious chewy toffee centres. Foremly known as baker and dobson everton mints.
